If you are looking for a simple and easy way to spice up sandwiches or dip sauces, Chipotle Sauce is a delicious sauce made with very simple ingredients and suitable for sandwiches and sandwiches such as a tuna sandwich. Or mix it with shredded chicken, grilled chicken sandwich, fish taco sandwich, or fried shrimp, but it's a creamy and fatty sauce.
Ingredients needed to make chipotle sauce:
Half a cup of mayonnaise.
Half a cup of plain Greek yogurt.
Quarter cup of chopped coriander.
¼ teaspoon ground cumin.
¼ teaspoon of dried dill.
Kosher salt to taste.
garlic powder.
Black pepper.
1 teaspoon ready-made adobo sauce, can be substituted with ½ cup Mexican cream (or sour cream).
Fresh lemon juice (optional).
How to make chipotle sauce:
Wash the green coriander very well using running water and then finely chop it.
In a food processor or electric mixer, add mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, chopped cilantro and adobo sauce, puree until smooth, 2-3 minutes or until mixture is creamy and smooth.
A little water is added intermittently to the mixture until we get a mixture of a thin consistency similar to the consistency of soup.
The mixture is poured into a small bowl and left to rest for two hours until the ingredients are mixed. The mixture must be tasted after that to see if it needs adding ingredients to adjust the flavor.
Pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl and season with ground cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, dried dill and salt.
If we want the taste to be sour, we put a little fresh lemon juice.
We prepare glass containers, which must be clean, sterile and hot, by boiling them with water over a heat source.
Use a ladle to transfer the chipotle sauce to the glass bowls, leaving about half an inch of space in the top of each bowl.
Then pour the sauce into the glass container so that it is clean, and serve the sauce immediately after preparation or keep in the refrigerator for up to four weeks.
We put the lids on the glass containers and then put them in the refrigerator.
